The short answer
The CoinMax is a self-service coin counter that processes up to 4,100 coins per minute, diverts suspect coins without stopping the count and holds up to 140,000 coins in its dual-bin setup. WaTo Consulting supplies, installs and maintains CoinMax units from Adelaide, including JetLink remote management, for banks, clubs and retailers nationally.
What is the CoinMax?
The CoinMax is a self-service coin redemption machine designed for high-traffic environments like bank branches, RSL foyers, supermarket lobbies and gaming venues. Customers pour loose coins into the hopper and the machine counts, sorts and totals them automatically at up to 4,100 coins per minute. Suspect coins are diverted to a return cup without interrupting the count. The machine stores up to 70,000 mixed coins in a single bin, or up to 140,000 in a dual-bin configuration, so it handles serious volume between collections.
CoinMax features
4,100 coins per minute
The fastest self-service coin counter available. Customers are in and out in minutes, even with large volumes of mixed loose coin.
Self-service operation
No staff needed at the machine. Customers follow on-screen prompts, pour in their coins and receive a receipt with the total.
High-precision coin discrimination
Advanced sensors differentiate Australian denominations accurately. Foreign coins, damaged coins and debris are rejected automatically without stopping the count.
Large bin capacity
Single bin holds 70,000 mixed coins. Dual-bin configuration holds up to 140,000, which means fewer collections and less downtime between customers.
Through-the-wall option
Available in a through-the-wall configuration where coins and management controls sit behind the wall for added security in public-facing locations.
