The short answer
For quick IT fixes in Adelaide, WaTo Consulting's help desk answers the phone, connects securely to your computer with your permission and fixes the problem while you watch. Software, email, printer, password and Wi-Fi issues are usually sorted remotely in one session, and an on-site visit is arranged when hands-on work is needed.
What is help desk & remote support?
Help desk support is a dedicated team you call when something goes wrong with your technology: a printer that won't print, email that's stopped syncing, software that's throwing errors. Remote support means we connect securely to your computer over the internet and fix the problem there and then, without needing to send someone to your office. Most everyday IT issues can be resolved in minutes this way, which means less downtime and less disruption to your day.

Who it's for
- Offices where staff need quick answers to everyday tech problems without waiting.
- Businesses without a dedicated IT person who need somewhere reliable to call.
- Teams working from home or across multiple sites who can't wait for an on-site visit.
- Companies already on a managed plan who want fast, friendly first-line support included.
How it works
- You call or email. Ring (08) 7123 0805 or send us an email. A real person responds, not an auto-reply.
- We connect remotely. With your permission, we securely access your screen and see exactly what you see.
- Problem diagnosed. We figure out what's wrong and explain it in plain English before we touch anything.
- Fixed on the spot. Most issues are resolved in that same session, so you're not waiting on a callback.
- Documented. We log what happened and what we did, so if it crops up again we're already ahead of it.
Why WaTo for help desk support
- A real person answers, not a chatbot or a call centre overseas.
- Most problems resolved remotely in under 30 minutes, so your day isn't written off.
- We already know your setup, so you're not explaining your systems from scratch every time you ring.
- One Adelaide team for everything. If we can't fix it remotely, we can come to you.
- Friendly, patient support that doesn't make you feel silly for asking.
Why you can rely on us
A small Adelaide team that answers its own phone, backed by trusted partners around Australia. Here's what that means for your business.
Who you'll deal with
A small, experienced team at WaTo in Adelaide, so the people who know your setup are the ones who pick up. When a job needs hands on site interstate, we bring in trusted partners around Australia and stay your one point of contact.
Response times
Every agreement is built around the business, so your contract sets the exact times. As a starting point we work to common industry targets: critical outages within 1 hour, high priority within 4 business hours, normal requests by the next business day, and planned work as booked. See our service level agreement.
After hours
After-hours cover depends on your plan. Contract clients can usually reach someone, and planned after-hours work is booked in and done outside your trading hours. Voicemail and email are checked regularly out of hours too: if something comes in, we look, even when we're away. See after-hours IT cover.
Certificates and paperwork
Operating since 2001, with our ABN and company details at the foot of every page. We'd rather show you the work than a wall of badges, but if your board, insurer or a tender needs certificates, policies or evidence, talk to us and we'll sort out what you need.
Help desk questions
How fast will someone pick up?
We aim to answer within a few rings during business hours. If we're on another call, we'll ring you back within the hour, usually much sooner.
Is remote support secure?
Yes. We use encrypted remote access tools that require your permission each time. We can only see your screen while you allow it, and the session ends when the job's done.
What if the problem can't be fixed remotely?
We'll let you know straight away and arrange an on-site visit. Being Adelaide-based means we're not far away.
Do we need to be on a managed plan to use the help desk?
No. You can use our help desk as a standalone service on a per-call basis, or bundle it into a managed plan for a flat monthly rate.
Who can I call for IT help in Adelaide?
WaTo Consulting runs an Adelaide-based help desk where a real person answers, connects to your computer remotely and fixes it while you are on the line. On-site help is arranged when it is needed.
Can someone fix my computer remotely?
Most software, email, printer and account problems can be fixed remotely. You give permission, we connect securely, and you can watch what we do. If it needs hands-on work, we arrange a visit.
